- Technical Description
The Case Tear Drop is a traditional pocket knife, designed by the famous slipjoint maker Tony Bose. When you look at the handle you will immediately understand where the name comes from. The teardrop shape is slim and beautiful. It has a droppoint blade with slipjoint lock.
Case Tang Stamp collection
- Ever since the early days Case has marked each blade with a so-called 'Tang stamp'. A stamp that is added to the ricasso, the flat part of the blade just before the pivot. Throughout the years the stamps change every couple years. Today every ten years. The result is that Case has quite the archive filled with different stamps from different periods
Case Tru-Sharp SS steel
- The blade is made from Case Tru-Sharp SS. This is a stainless type of steel that is similar to 420HC steel. Characterizing about this type of steel is that you can quickly sharpen it and have a razor-sharp knife.
Olive Green Bone, Peach Seed Jig
- The handle is made from Olive Green Bone with a Peach Seed Jigged texture. This is basically cow bone that is enhanced with an interesting texture. Afterwards it is enhanced with a nice colour and polished. This is a truly classic type of handle material which radiates class and elegance.
Note: Because we use hand-crafting and natural materials your knife may not look exactly as depicted.
