Made from solid steamed beechwood in dark hues, the surface is extremely dense to minimize fluid absorption, but also has the right hardness to preserve the sharp edges of your kitchen knives so that the knives keep their edge longer.  The integrated support rails allow the board to be handled and repositioned with ease.
