The great thing about the Real Steel Luna is that the slipjoint is enhanced with a separate half-stop. This half-stop is not a new concept. People have been adding this for hundreds of year. Real Steel, however, did one thing slightly different. The half-stop comes earlier than the regular half-stops. As such your fingers are safer, and it enables you to close the knife with one hand.
The blade is made from Böhler N690 steel. This is a tough, stainless type of steel that retains its sharpness well. N690 is also easy to sharpen. So very user-friendly!
