The Einstein Cap is a part of Nebo's new line of head torches, named after the famous physicist Einstein!
Designed for use on the peak of a cap, the Einstein Cap has a large clip that easily slides onto the cap with the light pointing outwards. The light is hinged where it connects to the clip, which allows it to be adjusted within a 90° angle for the perfect beam direction and hands-free lighting solution
It is powered by the built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery, which is recharged inside the torch via the micro USB port that can be revealed by lifting the clip on the back. The supplied cable is plugged into the micro USB port and then connected to a standard USB port or USB adaptor. The LED indicators will light up red while charging is in progress then turn blue once charging is complete.
A COB LED outputs a white beam of 50 lumens on the high output, with a run-time of 2 hours, 50 minutes, and a beam range of 16 meters. Mid and low and red outputs are also available.
The operation can be done manually with the power button, with each press cycling through high, mid, and low, or it can be done contactless with the sensor function. Put the light into wave mode by pressing the W button, and the light will then turn on and off by waving your hand in front of it, which comes in useful if you have dirty hands.
The lightweight design makes it much more comfortable to wear than a regular head torch and is handy for those that love to wear a cap.
