FOX KARAMBIT TITANIUM FRAME LOCK

FOX's Karambit 599 is one of the most powerful and humble combat knives. It was an honor to have the authorization from Ernest Emerson in person to be able to use his "Wave Shaped Opening Feature" patent. With this important addition, it is possible to open the knife, in emergency situations, with one hand simply by pulling it out of the pocket.

Featuring hybrid titanium and carbon fiber scale construction, the Fox Knives karambit FX-599TiCS features premium ELMAX steel with a 2.55" long swedged blade, bead blasted. A lock bar insert ensures the longevity of the milled titanium frame lock. The milled texture extends through the carbon fiber and chamfered edges keep things comfortable.
The backspacer and back ring are constructed from a single piece of titanium which matches the coyote-colored finish of the frame itself. Combined with jimping on the thumb ramp and flipper tab and prominent finger grooves, the 599 TIT offers a secure grip.
The FX-599TiCS presents multiple options for blade deployment, either with the thumb cutout, a flipper tab or the integrated wave opener.
The high-performance ELMAX steel is third-generation powdered steel that offers virtually no non-metal inclusions and the powder-metallurgy process reduces the grain size and creates an extremely uniform distribution of carbides. With superior performance to S30V, ELMAX offers greater toughness and better edge holding.
