Alan Folts of Melbourne, Florida may have released the original Minimalist® design years ago, but the latest additions to the series are proof he’s far from running out of great ideas. Expanding the prominent line of outdoor fixed blade knives, Alan drew his latest inspiration for the Minimalist® Katana from his Facebook community group. Coined originally as the “Katanamalist,” Alan set out to take the Minimalist® and its fan-favorite features to a whole new level.
Coming in at 3.56" in length, it’s the largest blade in the Minimalist® series yet. Constructed of high-carbon stainless steel, there’s added thickness, guaranteeing it’ll be up for whatever challenge thrown your way. Modernized by being slightly thinner near the belly and more chiseled toward the tip, the blade tackles utility tasks on the go or around the workshop. Made for precision, this blade pierces easily, the thicker ground behind the point of the blade aiding it to effortlessly glide through surfaces.
The polished resin-infused fiber handle is built with ergonomic choils for a secure grip. A versatile sheath is equipped to work as a neck knife, so you can slip it easily onto a belt, or attach to gear.
- Easy To Sharpen: High carbon stainless steel blade takes an edge well
- Minimizes Reflectivity: Bead blast finish reduces reflection
- Strong and Visual: Resin infused fiber handle combines strength with visual appeal
- Gear Compatible: Durable thermoplastic sheath with mounting options
- Compact Utility: Lightweight and easy to carry
