CASE KNIVES PEACH SEED JIG OLIVE GREEN BONE TRAPPER
CASE KNIVES PEACH SEED JIG OLIVE GREEN BONE TRAPPER
Description
The Case Trapper is a traditional pocket knife with a classic Trapper shape. This is a pattern that has its origins amongst hunters and poachers. This specific version has two blades: one classic clippoint and one traditional speypoint. Both blades can be used to gut caught game. When opened they are kept in place by a slipjoint.
Technical Description
This Trapper is a part of the Peach Seed Jig Olive Green Bone Family. The bone handle features a peach seed jigging and a deep olive color with a stamped metal band. The Trapper gets its name from the consumer it was designed for. Because of its basic trapping and skinning blades and its lightweight, it is a must-have knife for those who trap small game.
This Case Trapper is enhanced with the 'Case XX' tang stamp that was used between 1940 and 1964.
Clip Blade
- The Clip blade is extremely versatile — just the thing for those everyday tasks at work or around the house. With a sharp point for piercing, the shape allows for better control of the cutting edge.
Spey Blade
- The Spey blade was a vital tool for farmers and ranchers who would use it when castrating livestock. Also a favored tool for skinning game, this all-purpose blade shape is found in many popular knife patterns such as the Trapper.
Note: Because we use hand-crafting and natural materials your knife may not look exactly as depicted.
