- Technical Description
The "Pattada" knife is commonly known also as "Resolza" (from the Latin word for razor) or "Pattadese". Originally used from the pastors, is normally considered as the Sardinian knife for excellence and is built in many different versions from the original for shapes, materials used and decorations.
The handle is made of massive cow horn scales, which are connected to the stainless steel back with 5 decorative brass rivets. The brass clamp as handle end carries the finely ground and satined blade, which is constructed as a friction folding knife without spring. The Pattada thus successfully combines tradition with elegance.
Italian knife manufacturer Antonini was founded in Maniago in 1925 and has stood for functionality and reliability for more than 90 years. Particularly in the field of rescue knives, Antonini has developed over the years into one of the leading manufacturers in Europe and is now equipping various security and rescue forces.
